Refund Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This Refund Policy applies to purchases of FARABIO subscriptions, software products, and add-ons. It should be read together with our Terms of Use and any applicable order form.
FARABIO is designed primarily for schools, educational institutions, and other business or organizational customers.
1. General Policy
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, provided under the applicable Paddle terms, or expressly agreed in writing, payments are non-refundable.
We do not offer a general 14-day money-back guarantee. Purchasing a subscription constitutes a commitment for the subscription period selected at checkout.
Subject to the exceptions below, refunds are not provided for:
- A change of mind or a decision to stop using the product.
- Limited use or non-use of a subscription.
- Unused time remaining in a subscription period.
- Features or capabilities that were not advertised or expressly included in your purchase.
- Cancellation after a renewal payment has been processed.
Please review the product description, plan limits, and technical requirements before purchasing. Where available, use our free plan, demonstration, or trial to assess suitability.
2. FARABIO START — Timetable Generation
FARABIO START provides timetable generation and optimization capabilities. Customers may receive substantial value shortly after activation, including by generating, viewing, or exporting a usable timetable.
Accordingly, completing a timetable, exporting results, or no longer needing the product after generating a timetable does not, by itself, qualify a purchase for a refund.
We do not guarantee that every combination of school data, resource limitations, and scheduling constraints will produce a feasible timetable. An unsuccessful generation caused by conflicting constraints, insufficient resources, or incomplete or inaccurate input data does not, by itself, establish a product defect or entitlement to a refund.
This section does not limit rights relating to a defective or materially misdescribed product, applicable statutory rights, or rights under Paddle’s applicable terms.
3. Billing Errors and Technical Issues
Please contact us promptly if you believe you have been charged twice or billed incorrectly. Verified billing errors will be corrected, including by refunding amounts charged in error where appropriate.
If a material technical issue prevents access to, or use of, the purchased product substantially as described, please provide sufficient details for us to investigate and attempt a resolution.
If we cannot resolve a verified material issue within a reasonable time, we will assess an appropriate remedy, which may include a full or partial refund, taking into account the circumstances, applicable law, and applicable Paddle terms.
Assistance with troubleshooting is encouraged but does not suspend or restrict any statutory deadline or right to request a refund.
4. Subscription Cancellation and Renewals
You may cancel automatic renewal before your next renewal date.
Unless otherwise stated in your order or required by law:
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid subscription period.
- You retain access until that period ends.
- Cancellation does not automatically refund payments already made.
- No prorated refund is provided for unused subscription time.
An annual subscription remains an annual commitment even if its price is displayed as a monthly equivalent. Your actual billing period and amount payable are shown at checkout.
For purchases through Paddle, you can manage cancellation using the subscription management link in your purchase confirmation email or by visiting paddle.net.
5. Add-ons and Professional Services
Paid add-ons and one-time purchases are generally non-refundable once activated or delivered, subject to applicable law and Paddle’s applicable terms.
Implementation, training, data migration, and custom development services are governed by the relevant written quotation or service agreement. Any refund assessment for these services will take into account the agreed terms and work already performed.
6. Purchases Through Paddle
Where your purchase is processed by Paddle, Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and authorized reseller for that transaction.
Such purchases are also subject to the applicable Paddle Buyer Terms and Paddle Refund Policy.
Nothing in this policy limits Paddle’s authority to review or issue refunds under its applicable terms, including discretionary refunds. A request does not automatically guarantee approval.
You may submit a refund request through the support link in your Paddle receipt or by visiting paddle.net.
7. How to Request a Refund
For product-related assistance or to request a refund review from FARABIO, contact sales@farabio.me with:
- Your school or organization name.
- The email address used for the purchase.
- Your order, invoice, or transaction reference.
- The purchase date and product purchased.
- The reason for your request and any relevant supporting details.
Please do not send passwords or full payment card details.
We will review your request and communicate the outcome. Refunds approved for Paddle transactions are processed by Paddle in accordance with its applicable policy. Payment processing and bank posting times may vary.
Where a purchase is fully refunded, access to the corresponding paid product or entitlement will end. Any partial refund will specify its effect on your subscription.
8. Mandatory Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights relating to faulty, misdescribed, or undelivered products.
Where applicable law provides a withdrawal or refund right, that right applies regardless of the general non-refundable policy stated above.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published at the time of your purchase will apply to that transaction, unless a change is required by applicable law or otherwise agreed with you.
